Kradel Design is the creative laboratory of Maribeth Kradel-Weitzel. She is a recipient of the Sappi Ideas That Matter grant, has published and lectured internationally and is president emeritus of AIGA Philadelphia. As an Assistant Provost and Associate Professor of Graphic Design Communication at Jefferson University, she has coordinated an award-winning course in design thinking required for all students in design, engineering and business majors. She has also taught packaging, illustration, typography, branding, systems design and capstone. Maribeth is a product of Penn State University, holds an MFA in Graphic and Interactive Design from Temple University's Tyler School of Art and has received executive education certification from Yale University's School of Management program, Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders.
She seeks projects that strive to provide equality for vulnerable and under-represented populations.
When not designing, Maribeth has her nose in a book or is rearranging everything in her house.
